The images on an Amazon listing do most of the selling. Shoppers look before they read, and the gallery is where they decide whether your product is worth the click on "Add to Cart". This guide explains what a listing image service costs, what a complete set should include, and how to avoid paying for images you will have to replace.
What a complete Amazon image set includes
Amazon allows several images and a video on a listing. A complete set usually covers:
- Main image on pure white, product only, filling most of the frame
- Key benefit image with the product and one short claim
- Features with callouts pointing at what matters
- What is inside or how it works, often an exploded or x-ray view
- Dimensions with real measurements
- Lifestyle showing the product in use
- What is in the box or the range of colours
- Comparison against alternatives or your other models
- Video in the video slot

Three kinds of listing image services
Design-only services
You send photos; a designer adds text, icons and layouts. Cheap per listing, but limited by your photos. If you do not have a dimension view or an inside view, the designer cannot invent one.
Photography plus design
A photographer shoots the product, then a designer builds the infographics. Accurate, but you need perfect samples, and every new colour or version means another shoot. Published 2026 rates put Amazon-compliant white-background photos at about $30 to $100 per image and styled lifestyle images at $150 to $500 or more (Photta, 2026).
3D renders plus design
The product is modeled once and every image is rendered from the same model: main image, angles, inside views, dimensions, lifestyle scenes and colourways. No sample needed, and every later image is cheap.

What drives the price
- How many products and variants. The model is the main cost; colourways after that are cheap.
- Lifestyle scenes. Custom scenes take longer than white-background angles.
- Internals. An exploded or x-ray view means modeling every internal part.
- Infographic design. Layouts, icons and text add design time.
Red flags when choosing a service
- No examples on live listings you can check
- Images "cleaned up" with AI that change the product
- Main images that are not on pure white or include text
- No answer to "what will the next colourway cost?"
Frequently asked questions
How much does an Amazon listing image service cost?
Design-only services can cost very little per listing but depend on your photos. Photography plus design costs more per product. Our 3D listing sets start at $490 for four renders and $990 for a full set with lifestyle scenes, dimensions and a turntable.
How long does it take?
Our Essential package delivers in 4 to 5 working days and Signature in 5 to 7.
Do you need a sample?
No. We work from CAD, photos or a spec sheet. Samples help for unusual materials, but are never required.
Can you fix images that got my listing suppressed?
Yes. That is what Image Rescue is for. See how to fix a suppressed Amazon main image.
