3D Product Rendering for Australian Brands: Prices, Amazon.com.au and Shopify

Australian product brands face a problem their US competitors do not: shipping samples to a photographer, waiting, and shipping them back is slow and expensive from almost anywhere. 3D product rendering removes the sample from the process. This guide covers what it costs, what Australian marketplaces need, and how to work with a studio in another time zone.

Why Australian brands are moving to 3D

  • No sample shipping. We render from CAD, photos or a spec sheet, so nothing crosses an ocean.
  • Launch before stock lands. Renders can be ready while your first container is still at sea.
  • One set for every market. Many Australian brands sell on Amazon.com.au, their own Shopify store and overseas marketplaces. One model feeds them all.
  • Colourways without reshoots. A new colour is $70, not a new shoot.

What it costs

Our prices are in USD; your bank or card converts at the day's rate.

  • First render: $130, credited back against any package
  • Essential: $490 for 4 renders on white
  • Signature: $990 for 8 renders including 2 lifestyle scenes, a dimension view and a 360 turntable
  • Collection: $2,090 for 3 products with matched lighting and an A+ layout
  • Animation: a 360 turntable from $690, feature callouts from $1,590

What Amazon.com.au and Shopify need

Amazon's image rules are broadly the same across its marketplaces: a pure white main image with the product filling the frame, then supporting images for features, dimensions and use. Check the image requirements in your Seller Central before you upload, and read Amazon product image requirements explained.

For Shopify, consistency matters more than any single image. A collection where every product is shot in different light looks like a marketplace, not a brand. Rendering every product from the same lighting setup fixes that.

Time zones

Our studio hours are 9:00 to 18:00 GMT+5. Australian Eastern time is several hours ahead, so your afternoon overlaps with our working day. Feedback you send after lunch in Sydney or Melbourne is usually picked up the same day. Every project also has a private tracking link, so you can check progress at any hour.

Payment and GST

We invoice in USD, paid by card through Payoneer, 50% to start and 50% before delivery. Whether GST applies to imported services depends on your business registration; ask your accountant how to treat an overseas supplier invoice.

What to send us

  • CAD (STEP or native) if you have it, otherwise photos from several angles and two or three measurements
  • Your colourways and finishes
  • The marketplaces and stores you sell on
  • A few listings or brands whose images you like

We reply within one working day with a fixed price and delivery date.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to send a physical sample to you?

No. We work from CAD, photos or a spec sheet. Samples are only useful for unusual materials, and never required.

How long does delivery take?

Our average turnaround is 4 to 7 working days, with 48-hour rush at +35% where our queue allows.

Can you render products that are still in development?

Yes. Rendering from CAD lets you build your listing and pre-launch ads before production. See concept renders.

Do you produce Amazon A+ content?

Yes. The Collection and Campaign packages include A+ content layouts. See Amazon A+ content design cost.
