Rendering a charger that has to show its own paperwork
The One Business is a certified billing meter as much as it is a charger. The renders had to hold up at the size of a spec sheet thumbnail and at the size of a zoomed-in compliance label.

A charger that has to prove its own paperwork
The One Business carries Eichrecht MID Class C billing certification, which means the meter reading has to stay legible from outside the unit. That is not a styling choice, it is a regulatory one.
The rear label alone carries CAUTION and ATTENTION text in English and French, plus the full technical block: model, serial number, input rating, meter class, IP65/IK10 protection, operating temperature range and the CE and DE-M compliance marks. All of it had to render sharp enough to read at a zoomed crop, not just sit there as texture.
The brief was to model the unit to its real dimensions rather than dress up a generic enclosure, since the case friendly edges, the socket placement and the meter window are all things a spec sheet reader checks against the datasheet.

The back is a fitting problem, not an afterthought
A wall or pole-mounted charger lives or dies on its backplate, and nobody photographs that side for marketing.
The mounting plate, screw pattern and rear cable entry were modelled to the same tolerance as the front, because an installer sizing a bracket cares about that geometry as much as a driver cares about the touchscreen.
The 5-inch display was mocked up with the idle "Tap to Wake" screen so the front renders double as UI documentation rather than a blank panel of glass.

The work, in order
Reference in
Spec sheet dimensions (350 x 233 x 169 mm) and the physical labelling text as the brief, rather than a studio sample.
Geometry
Enclosure, socket, touchscreen bezel and card reader modelled to the real dimensions the datasheet quotes.
Labelling
The rear compliance label rebuilt as legible geometry and texture: model, serial, ratings, certification marks, bilingual warning text.
Screen mock-up
The idle "Tap to Wake" state placed on the 5-inch display so the front view reads as a working unit, not a dark panel.
Finish pass
Jet Black colourway lit and rendered, plus a separate material test pass to check the finish before committing to the full set.
Delivery
Square WebP exports at matched framing, ready to drop into a product page or spec sheet.
